Adam Niedzielski – PhD in economics, expert in financial management and strategic management. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics in two fields: economics and quantitative methods and information systems. Participant in the “Driving Government Performance. Leadership Strategies that Produce Results” programme run by the Harvard Kennedy School of Government & IESE Business School. Participant of numerous trainings and courses in public finance, management and leadership. He has many years of professional experience in managerial positions in the public sector. He worked, among others, in the Financial Policy Department and Analyses of the Ministry of Finance, he was an economic adviser in the Supreme Audit Office, managed the Department of Finance of the Department and the Department of Controlling at the Social Insurance Institution, as well as the Department of Strategy and Deregulation of the Ministry of Justice. Currently employed as general director of the Ministry of Finance. Co-creator of the “Strategy for modernization of the area of justice in Poland for 2014-2020” and “Strategy for the development of the Social Insurance Institution in 2010-2015”. Author of numerous scientific publications, analyses and reports (including for the OECD) on the subjects of public administration system, public finances, management and management control.
