Agnieszka Bejma – PhD in humanities in the field of political science, graduate of the Institute of Political Science, University of Warsaw (specialisation in political marketing). Assistant professor at the Department of European Institutions, IPS UW. Research interests focus on sociology and psychology of politics, in particular around civic activity and political participation, social capital, civil society in Central and Eastern Europe, the functioning of the non-governmental sector in Poland and in the world, respect for human rights and the fight against the threats of the modern world (in particular, human trafficking). She is an author of the book Wolontariat w Polsce i w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej. Prawo i praktyka (Volunteering in Poland and in Central and Eastern Europe. Law and practice) (2012) and a series of publications on various aspects of volunteer activity.
