Renata Mieńkowska-Norkiene – PhD, assistant professor at the Institute of Political Science, University of Warsaw. Political scientist and sociologist – a graduate of the Institute of Applied Social Science and the Institute of Political Science as part of the College of Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in the Humanities of the University of Warsaw. Scholarship holder of the University of Bonn, University of Vilnius, Liechtenstein-Institut in Liechtenstein, London School of Economics and Political Science, and Science Po in Paris. An intern at the Directorate General of Personnel and Administration of the European Commission in Brussels. Winner of the scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists for years 2011-2014. Research interests: the political system of the European Union, coordination of the EU policies at the national level, negotiations and conflict management, political systems of European countries, gender mainstreaming in the European equality policy. She is an author of numerous publications, including a monograph Koordynacja wielosektorowych projektów w przestrzeni ponadnarodowej: czyli jak państwo, organizacje społeczne i przedsiębiorcy mogą współpracować, żeby skutecznie naprawiać świat (Coordination of multi-sectoral projects in the supranational space: i.e. how the state, social organisations and entrepreneurs can cooperate to effectively repair the world) (2014).
