CHAMBER OF LABOR - (i.p.) ̶ a form of economic self-government not implemented in the interwar period, provided for in the constitutions of 1921 (art. 68) and 1935 (art. 76). The initiator and originator of i.p. Mieczysław Niedziałkowski (PPS) was inspired by Austrian solutions. In the interwar period, numerous bills related to i.p. were created, both governmental and from social factors, however, the act could not be passed. None i.p. was an obstacle in establishing the → Supreme Chamber of Commerce. [A. Szustek]
