Stanisław Mazur – professor at the University of Economics in Kraków, PhD with “habilitation”. A graduate of the Jagiellonian University (Department of Law and Administration, Institute of Political Science). Dean of the Faculty of Economy and Public Administration of the EU in Kraków (from 2016). Head of the Department of Public Administration (from 2017). Director of the Małopolska School of Public Administration at the Cracow University of Economics (in years 1997-2004). Head of the Centre for Studies in Economy and Public Administration at the Cracow University of Economics (1996-1997). Editor-in-chief of the quarterly „Zarządzanie Publiczne” (Public Management). Member of the Civil Service Council (2009-2015). He participated as an expert and coordinator in several dozen national and international projects in the field of: decentralisation, analysis of public policies, public management, quality of governance, modernization of public administration, organisational learning. He is an author of over 170 scientific publications. Author and co-author of over 120 expert opinions. As part of his expert activity, he cooperated, among others, with the Chancellery of the President of the Council of Ministers, ministries, central offices, regional and local governments and international organisations, including the United States Agency for International Development, the World Bank, and the European Public Administration Network.
