Dean of the Faculty of Economy and Public Administration of the EU in Kraków (from 2016). Head of the Department of Public Administration (from 2017). Director of the Małopolska School of Public Administration at the Cracow University of Economics (in years 1997-2004). Head of the Centre for Studies in Economy and Public Administration at the Cracow University of Economics (1996-1997). Editor-in-chief of the quarterly „Zarządzanie Publiczne” (Public Management).
